New Envisage website
Let’s get it on!
Did you know that Envisage Design have been designing for the web since the Internet’s near inception? Our freelance Auckland-based studio was even sending digital files through telephone lines before email was established in New Zealand. Basically, we’ve known the web since it was in the womb.
This new-look site (.est 2010) is our fouth studio site. The first was launched way back in 1995. Just for fun, have a look-see at this particularly flashy one designed in 2001 (opens in new window).
Over the years Envisage have tried a multitude of design tools to achive great online results for our lucky clients. While in Auckland, we worked with heaps of Internet fads (they come and go), software companies (who eventually amalgamate) and design techniques (that ultimately streamline) to get to a point where we now say ‘We Do Website Well’. And we mean this in the most honest sense.
Here at Envisage, we believe that there has recently been a maturity in web design standards. For a trendy bunch like us this is fantastic news for our clients. Why? Because the ground is shifting less, and we can put our best foot forward in terms of rock-solid design foundations for companies and businesses. Envisage now specialise in designing for the web using WordPress.
What is WordPress?
WordPress is an extremely user-friendly content management system for websites and blogs. Users (you) can easily update and change the text, images, video, audio and more of your site using the WordPress platform. And with the right designer, no knowledge of web programming is required. Updating your WordPress-based website can be as simple as changing your profile in Facebook. To sum it up in their own words:

Just over one year later, Envisage have designed over 25 stunning WordPress-based websites. That’s 1 new business site completed every 2 weeks. Not bad for a solo freelance studio. I am standing by my decision to stick with WordPress, and the results are proving that it was the best choice.
